Thanks for your kind words and your concern for my narrator's mental health, but this is a fictional story. (I am unfortunately merely a writer of fiction.) Us folks who "make things up" for a living often times choose narrators who are much unlike ourselves to explore diffrent facets of human nature and how it relates to society as a whole. That being said, I don't think this particualr narrator is depressed. They are, perahps, just a tad pleasantly ennui-affected, but not enough to be of worry to thier well-being.
